What we collect
When you send an inquiry we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us: phone number, business name, the service you’re interested in, your preferred way to be contacted and your message. We also receive basic technical information needed to block spam (for example, a one-time token from Cloudflare Turnstile and your IP address).
Why we collect it
We use it only to reply to your inquiry, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, provide the services you engage us for. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Inquiries are stored in a database operated by Cloudflare and delivered to our inbox by email. Access is limited to people at Westcoast Accounting who need it to respond to you.
How long we keep it
If you don’t become a client, we delete your inquiry within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us at any time. Please don’t send Social Insurance Numbers or full tax documents through the website form — we share a secure upload link once we’ve spoken.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the inquiry form from spam.
